Job Description

The Senior Accountant will oversee the financial operations of Haron Computers and its sister companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards. This role will play a key part in managing the financial data, assisting in audits, tax filings, cost accounting, and budget management while also mentoring junior staff. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for reporting directly to the Finance Manager and collaborating closely with the Cost/Budget Head and General Accounts Head.

Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies

Act as the point of contact for audits and compliance reviews.


Prepare detailed financial reports

Deliver comprehensive reports to management, offering insights for strategic planning.


Implement process improvements

Recommend and execute enhancements to accounting processes and financial controls.


Supervise and mentor junior staff

Provide guidance, review work, and support professional development of junior accountants.


Prepare and manage financial statements

Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Assist in audits and compliance

Work with auditors to ensure the company's compliance with local accounting laws and standards.

Collaborate on budget and cost management

Partner with the Cost and Budget Head to monitor budget performance and manage cost allocations.


Lead special financial projects

Take charge of projects like system upgrades and new compliance requirements to optimize financial management.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable

Ensure timely processing of payments and collections to maintain healthy cash flow.


Manage tax filings

Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax filings and other statutory requirements.


Support month-end and year-end closing

Ensure timely completion of financial reporting and closing processes.


Oversee day-to-day accounting operations

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial entries and reconciliations.
